21 Things You Might Not Know About Bernard ElBernard – Part 4

One of the most important encounters I have had is the encounter with the HOLY SPIRIT. I remember how 20 years ago, I used to fellowship and have communion with the Holy Spirit and the Spirit of the Lord will teach me a lot of things. In those days, I had the opportunity to read a book by Pastor Benny Hinn and that helped me with my understanding and relationship with the Holy Spirit.

In the early 1999’s, after my born again experience, I was so thirsty to know more about God and my new found faith. One evening a friend of mine invited me to a convention. It was at this convention that I saw and heard a man teaching the word of God. I was so much blessed by the message and all I wanted to do was to carry the teaching anointing of this man of God. I took the teaching materials of this man of God into a period of prayer and fasting. What happened to me is unexplainable. Most of my friends started saying a certain atmosphere is created whenever I start teaching. I just got to know that I had received the teaching mantle of my father, Rev. Ebo Assan.

In 2009, I had an encounter with Apostle Emmanuel Nkum that eventually changed my life and shifted my ministry into a new level of acceptance and glory. Whilst I was at a restaurant eating, this great man of God entered. I requested for prayer and later he invited me to church the next day. He made me preach that Sunday and spoke into my life. He said God has opened up the nation of Ghana unto me and a father of the land will call me and my ministry will take a new dimension. This encounter with my father is the root of the exploits of today.

On the 14th of July 2010, I had the privilege of preaching for Rev. Dr. Robert Ampiah-Kwofi of Global Revival Ministries. That was the meeting that opened up the whole of Accra and Ghana for my ministry. My encounter with Rev. Dr. Robert Ampiah-Kwofi is a very memorable one because it opened up my ministry to a new dimension.
